Adrian Chiles's finances appear to be in fine fettle, with the company he runs reporting a surge in profits of more than 50% to almost £4m last year.
Chiles, whose main work is as the chief presenter of ITV's football coverage, including the FA Cup and Champions League, reported profits at his company Basic Broadcasting of £3.94m for the year to the end of January 2013.
The firm, which is used to channel Chiles's earnings, had a bumper year with profits up almost 53% on the £2.58m reported the previous year.
Chiles is listed as the only director of Basic Broadcasting, according to a financial filing at Companies House.
The filing shows that Chiles took a loan of £345,843 from the company last year, repaying £126,135 by the end of the company's period of 31 January.
In August, he signed a deal to return to the BBC for the first time since quitting BBC1's The One Show, signing up as a co-host of BBC Radio 5 Live.
Chiles, who was one of the launch presenters on 5 Live, is a co-host of the Friday edition of Radio 5 Live's drivetime show.
He left the corporation in 2010, unhappy after he was replaced by Chris Evans on the Friday edition of The One Show.
