Do you mourn the demise of nightclubs?

Pressure on late night venues is causing some clubs and bars to close down, claim venue promoters. Issues around licensing, security, noise and other regulations make it expensive and difficult to run a successful venue, says the Music Venue Trust.

We want to know if you like late night bars and clubs, or did in your youth. Are you glad that rules and restrictions on late-night bars and clubs are strict, or do you see the need for places where people can let loose and enjoy themselves into the small hours? Did you ever have wild nights at your local version of the Haçienda, or do you agree with Charlie Brooker that nightclubs are hell?
