Vincent Bolloré's Havas has reported third quarter revenue of €343m (£230m), a slight rise over the same period last year.
Havas, the world's sixth-largest advertising group, reported a 2.1% revenue increase for the first nine months of the year to €1.062bn (£711m).
Billings from new client wins for the first nine months of the year have more than doubled compared with the same period last year from €760m (£508m) to €1.580bn (£1.057bn).
Notable wins include Reckitt Benckiser's $1.5bn (£791m) global advertising account and the $100m (£53m) media business for Danone in the US.
Havas showed organic growth in its stronghold of France, the UK and the rest of Europe as well as Latin America, but lost ground in North America and Asia Pacific for the first nine months this year.
Mr Bolloré, the chairman and largest shareholder in Havas, is preparing for a showdown with rival media group Aegis later this month.
The French financier, who controls 29% of Aegis, is facing a shareholder meeting on November 22 in a bid to win two seats on the firm's board.
Last month, he backed a new Paris agency, FFL, set up by three senior advertising executives who left French rival Maurice Levy's Publicis group, by taking a 30% stake.
